Engine options include 1.6L multi-point injection (75kW/148Nm), 1.9L turbo pump injection (77kW/250Nm), 2L multi-point injection (110kW/200Nm), 2L turbo pump injection (103kW/320Nm) and 2L turbo multi-point injection (147kW/280Nm). Available with 5-speed manual, 6-speed automatic or 6-speed manual transmissions. All variants feature front-wheel drive.
The new 2005 Golf is offered with a 3 year, 100,000 km warranty.
