Engine options include 1.6L multi-point injection (75kW/148Nm), 1.9L turbo pump injection (77kW/250Nm), 2L petrol direct injection (110kW/200Nm), 2L turbo pump injection (103kW/320Nm), 1.4L turbo & supercharger petrol direct injection (125kW/240Nm), 2L turbo petrol direct injection (147kW/280Nm) and 3.2L petrol direct injection (184kW/320Nm). Available with 5-speed manual, 6-speed automatic or 6-speed manual transmissions. Both front-wheel drive and four-wheel drive configurations are available.
The new 2008 Golf is offered with a 3 year, 100,000 km warranty.
